Who we are.
Michael has been hand making Appalachian Mountain Fretless Banjos for 4 years. An upholsterer and French Polisher by trade he has used his skills to create a range of beautiful instruments. The inspiration came from vintage banjos but when none of a good quality, and reasonable price, were available to buy in the UK he decided to make his own.
Each banjo is handmade in his workshop in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife.
Michael plays a variety of stringed instruments but the banjo has long been his favourite.
In addition to making these beautiful instruments Michael can restore antique banjos to their former glory.
